🚍 Local Pilotings in Progress! The COMP+ Diversity & Inclusion training package — including the D&I Workshop, e-learning course, and the COMP+ Computer Game 🎮 — is now being piloted across partner countries. 👥 120 public transport trainees and staff will take part in the training, helping us test and refine our innovative learning tools. Through these pilot sessions, we are: ✔ Training VET educators and transport professionals 🎓 ✔ Testing the usability of the workshop and game 🧩 ✔ Gathering valuable feedback to improve the learning platform 💬 ✔ Strengthening accessibility and impact ♿ These local pilotings are a crucial step to ensure that the COMP+ D/I tools are practical, relevant, and transferable across the transport and VET sectors. 🚌 Empowering Women in Public Transport Around the world, cities are creating women-only “pink” buses to make travel safer and more convenient for women 💗. Examples include private tours, daily commute routes, and university services in countries such as Pakistan, India, Indonesia, Turkey, Australia, and Mexico 🌍. At COMP+ Diversity & Inclusion, we strive for safe and inclusive public transport for everyone — promoting diversity and inclusion across the entire public transport system. Inclusion and safety go hand in hand – especially in public transport. 🚋 Have you ever noticed tram stops located in the middle of the road with raised side platforms? These platforms make it easier and safer for passengers – including people with reduced mobility – to get on and off the tram. ♿ But what about crossing the road? A smart and inclusive solution is the elevated pedestrian crossing and road section near the stop. This design works like a gentle speed bump: cars automatically slow down, reducing collision risks, while passengers can cross safely without stepping down and up again. Ideen bag COMP+-projekterne er enkel: Der er en række færdigheder og evner, der er afgørende for medarbejdere i den offentlige transport sektor i deres daglige arbejde, men som typisk ikke indgår i formelle faglige kvalifikationer. Disse omfatter områder som miljøbevidsthed, stresshåndtering, moralsk mod, konflikthåndtering samt mangfoldighed og inklusion.

Det er her, vores projekt kommer ind i billedet. Gennem en kombination af online selvstudiemoduler og fysiske gruppe-workshops udforskes disse emner på en praktisk og engagerende måde. Uddannelsen omfatter interaktive øvelser og masser af eksempler fra virkeligheden. For at gøre læringen levende bruger vi VR-simuleringer og spilbaserede scenarier. Disse giver deltagerne mulighed for at anvende deres nye viden og færdigheder direkte i realistiske, simulerede situationer. Vores uddannelse er modulopbygget og kan fleksibelt integreres i både grunduddannelsen og løbende efteruddannelsesprogrammer.
